Home Sweet Home
Medium Acuity
Behavioral Health
Rio/Hollywood is a secure second medium acuity behavioral health unit, incorporating a dining room, dayroom and exterior patio. It is geared towards residents with a history of behavioral health symptoms and psychiatric disorders who are more prone to verbal aggression or have a history of self-injury, suicidal thoughts and statements.
On-site providers and visits include internal medicine and psychiatry. Outside appointments are accommodated with arranged transportation and staff accompaniment.

Medium Acuity Behavioral Global Cognitive Impairment Health
The Apache unit is a secure neurobehavioral unit, considered a medium acuity global cognitive impairment behavioral health unit. Incorporating 18 beds within 9 rooms, a dining room, dayroom and an exterior patio. It’s geared towards residents with an underlying neurological condition resulting in behavioral health issues. Associated symptoms include intermittent agitation, verbal aggression and somewhat of a physical aggression. Residents may have ‘stepped down’ from the Sunset unit or may have been directly admitted.
On-site providers and visits include internal medicine and psychiatry. Outside appointments are accommodated with arranged transportation and staff accompaniment.
High Acute
Behavioral Health
Sunset Heights is a secure unit designed for the most acutely psychiatrically-ill residents. It incorporates 33 beds within 18 rooms, a dining room, dayroom and exterior patio. The unit is geared towards patients with a history of physical aggression and/or highly manipulative behavior requiring close monitoring.
On-site providers and visits include internal medicine and psychiatry. Outside appointments are accommodated with arranged transportation and staff accompaniment.

Dementia and
Memory Care Health
Paradise Island is our wandering dementia unit incorporating 34 beds within 17 rooms. It is geared towards those typically confused who may have agitation with ADL care, wander and tend to be elderly or frail.
On-site providers and visits include internal medicine and psychiatry. Outside appointments are accommodated with arranged transportation and staff accompaniment.
Long Term and
Skilled Care
The Victorian Lane unit is our open, non behavioral health unit. Incorporating 42 beds within 22 rooms, a dining room, dayroom and exterior patio, it is geared towards residents devoid of extensive or unmanageable behavior and may have graduated from the behavioral health units.
On-site providers and visits include internal medicine, psychiatry and cardiology. Outside appointments are accommodated with arranged transportation and staff accompaniment.
The unit caters to residents who require Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy (ST), Wound Care, IV Therapy, and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
